Net Impact France Christmas Event with Julia Haake

The Net Impact Paris Professional Chapter, together with Net Impact HEC, Net Impact ESSEC, as well as members of Net Impact Temple Philadelphia, are happy to invite you to our Christmas event. We are thrilled to announce you that Julia Haake, a renowned sustainability professional since more than 20 years, has accepted to join us for this special event in central Paris. 




Julia Haake, PhD in economics, is Director of the
Paris Office of Oekam Research, a leading responsible investment rating agency and former Director of Corporate Relations at WWF-France. Julia studied economics at Kiel University, La Sorbonne
in Paris and Versailles University. She started working on sustainability issues in 1993 as a researcher in environmental economics at Wuppertal Institute and then Versailles University, where she worked on various research projects as well as her PhD thesis related to business and industry action for dematerialization and environmental sustainability. In early 2001, she then joined O2 France, a French consulting company specialized in ecodesign and sustainability company strategies. From 2003 to early 2008, she worked for La Poste first as Group Head of Environment and then Director Sustainable Development in the Mail Department. Julia Haake is co-author with Basile Gueorguievsky of the book L’Entreprise Légère, published by Delachaux & Niestlé in August 2010.

Liz is a frequent speaker on the creation of and interest in impact jobs, most recently sharing the stage with President Bill Clinton and lending insights to CEOs of Fortune 500 companies. In 2010, Liz was recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader, and in 2011 was named was named one of the 100 most influential people in business ethics by Ethisphere. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and two young sons.

Last-minute discount for HEC Sustainable Business Conference

We are proud to announce you that this year the Paris Professional Chapter is a special guest at the HEC Sustainable Business Conference, organised on March 22nd.

The MBA students of HEC Paris, together with those of Masters in Sustainable Development and in association with BE Citizen are proud to invite you to the 9th Annual Sustainable Business Conference 2012 - "Smart Cities. Smart Sustainability: enabling the positive city". The conference will take place at Campus HEC on 22nd March, 2012 from 09h00. Registrations begin from 08h00 onwards. 
  • Can energy requirements of cities be fulfilled over the long term with minimal ecological impact?
  • What are the key success factors for smart urban infrastructure development?
  • How can essential needs such as access to food, water and education be met in rapidly expanding metropolises?

5ème édition du World Forum Lille sur le thème « Oser la richesse »

Initié par Réseau Alliances et présidé par Philippe Vasseur, ancien Ministre, le World Forum Lille est un cycle d’événements internationaux dont l’objectif est de provoquer une économie mondiale responsable, en faisant connaître les « Bonnes Pratiques » d’entreprises (TPE, PME ou grands groupes) qui, partout dans le monde, exercent de manière responsable leur activité.


Pour sa 5ème édition, 5000 responsables d’entreprises, experts de la RSE, syndicalistes, représentants d’ONG et étudiants de toutes nationalités sont attendus à Lille pour débattre et s’inspirer des Bonnes Pratiques RSE. Le thème de l’année, « Oser la richesse », appelle les entreprises à créer de la valeur non seulement pour elles-mêmes, mais aussi pour l’ensemble de la société.
